we all know that it's st. patty's day { you better be wearing your green or you're getting pinched! } but there really is much to delight about for things that are green.

all shades- chartreuse, emerald, lime & hunter.

as Plato once said "beauty is in the eye of the beholder"- and we agree. art is fabulous!

{oh, how it'd be nice to be in europe right now....}

in the meantime, who doesn't love some fizz, bubbles & pizzazz all in your glass?

add some raspberries oranges, or limes over ice and you've got a cocktail of sorts.

and, reason to have a luncheon party outside - at these places, of course.

who would've thought that a week would go by and the cold, snowy weather would make way for spring?

and, really..... who cares? we're just glad it's here now!

wouldn't you love to just sit at this bistro set with your bestie and chat over iced tea and a light lunch? or come back when the sun sets and shoot the breeze with a delicious glass of wine? candlelight dinner with your sweetie? a casual game of cards? a time of solitude and reading?

the list could go on and on... and even though we don't have this exact scenario at the studio, we're thankful for this weather, albeit how short lived it could be.

hope you find joy in the sunshine and warm breezes today, and everyday...

sure, it's important that the look and feel of your house is consistent overall, but don't forget the details.

isn't it just lovely when you look closer in to find small delights that you didn't see from afar?

details are the bits that hold everything together... so make sure you pay attention.

oh my, isn't snow just beautiful?

we've had a fair share of winter weather here in greenville {and on a normal day i am one of those wishing cold temps would give way to spring fever!} but there is something magical about snowfall.

the calmness.

the sparkle.

the silence.

the beauty.

looks like we're in for a treat today...enjoy the magic while it lasts... {and cross your fingers that it sticks!}

the pure air and dazzling snow belong to things beyond the reach of all personal feeling, almost beyond the reach of life. yet such things are a part of our life, neither the least noble nor the most terrible.
